NYDFS Joins International Climate Change Coalition

The New York State Department of Financial Services ("NYDFS") joined the Network for Greening the Financial System ("NGFS"), an international coalition of bank supervisors created to "mobiliz[e] the financial industry to address climate change." NYDFS is the first state banking regulator from the United States to join the NGFS.

In addition, the NYDFS noted that it will join another international climate change initiative: the Sustainable Insurance Forum.
