Federal Register: Banking Agencies Propose Clean-Up Amendments to Reconcile CRA Regs with Regulation C
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, and the FDIC proposed amendments to conform their Community Reinvestment Act ("CRA") regulations with recent changes made by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to Regulation C (Home Mortgage Disclosure).
As previously covered, the proposal would (i) amend the definitions of "consumer loan" and "home mortgage loan" and (ii) modify public filing requirements in accordance with the aforementioned Regulation C changes.
The proposal was published in the Federal Register on September 20, 2017. Interested parties must submit comments by October 20, 2017.
