SEC Approves One-Time Exemption for Municipal Advisors to Requalify for Certification

The SEC approved amendments to MSRB Rules (i) G-3 ("Professional Qualification Requirements"), providing a one-time exemption for municipal advisors who allowed their qualification to lapse and (ii) G-8 ("Books and Records"), requiring municipal advisors to keep books and records regarding the exemption.
