CFTC to Hold Open Meeting to Consider Proposed Rules on Enhancing Customer Protections and Final Rules on Adaptation of Existing Regulations to Incorporate Swaps
The CFTC will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at 9:30 a.m., to consider:
- Proposed Rules on Enhancing Customer Protections and Customer Funds Held by FCMs; and
- Final Rules on the Adaptation of Existing Regulations to Incorporate Swaps.
Lofchie Comment: I note that the NFA has recently adopted a number of rules relating to the protection of customer assets.
