FINRA Notifies Member Firms of Effective Date of Rule Change Concerning Its Alternative Display Facility (FINRA Reg. Notice 16-33)

The SEC requested comments on an immediately effective FINRA proposal to make its Alternative Display Facility available to member firms for trade reporting. The request for comments was published in the Federal Register.

The FINRA proposal will make the Alternative Display Facility available to member firms for trade reporting only.

On December 2, 2013, FINRA filed with the SEC a proposed rule change to add a new entrant to the Alternative Display Facility. The SEC received no comments on the proposal. This order approved the proposed rule change.
