RN 11-39

August 18, 2011

FINRA published a regulatory notice responding to further questions raised after it published guidance in early 2010 on the use of social media in communications with the public (RN 10-06). In particular, this notice addresses the following issues relating to social media websites: (1) recordkeeping obligations; (2) supervisory review; (3) links to third-party websites; and (4) data fees.
