Fed Gets Facebook

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System ("FRB") launched an official Facebook page. The page is intended to increase the accessibility and availability of FRB news and educational material. The FRB noted that future Facebook posts will include press releases, speeches, testimony, reports, educational materials, frequently asked questions, photos and videos. With the launch of the Facebook page, the FRB now shares information on five social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and LinkedIn.
