NASAA to Focus on FinTech at Annual Conference
The North American Securities Administrators Association ("NASAA") will focus on the "Financial Services Technology Revolution" at its 2017 annual conference. The conference, which is intended to bring securities regulators and industry participants together, will be held from September 24-26, 2017.
The conference will include the following three panels:

"The Future Is Here: New Technologies for Raising Capital, Managing Money and Investing";

"Adaptation or Extinction? The Impact of the Technology Revolution on Financial Services Firms"; and
-
"Enforcement in the Age of Big Data: How Technology Is Expanding Everyone's Reach."
There also will be open discussions with NASAA Section Committees on topics such as broker-dealers, investment advisers, corporation finance, enforcement and investor education.
