NASDAQ: Order Instituting Proceedings to Determine Whether to Approve or Disapprove Proposed Rule Changes Relating to Market Maker Incentive Programs for Certain Exchange-Traded Products (SEC Release)

The SEC published for comment interesting proposals by Nasdaq and NYSE Arca that would allow issuers of certain securities to essentially reward market makers on those exchanges for making a good market in the relevant issuer's securities.
