FINRA Board of Governors Elects New Chairman

The FINRA Board of Governors elected John J. Brennan, Vanguard Group Chairman Emeritus and Senior Advisor, to be FINRA Chairman effective August 15, 2016.

Mr. Brennan was the FINRA Lead Governor since 2011. He succeeds Richard G. Ketchum.
