Federal Register: SEC Proposes Rule Requiring Business Continuity and Transition Plans for Investment Advisers

The SEC proposed a new rule requiring SEC-registered investment advisers to implement written business continuity and transition plans. The proposed rule is designed to address operational risks related to significant disruptions in the investment advisers' operations. The proposal was published in the Federal Register.

Comments on the proposal must be submitted by September 6, 2016.
