SEC Amends EDGAR Filer Manual

The SEC adopted amendments to Volume II of the Electronic Data Gathering, Analysis, and Retrieval system Filer Manual.

The amended rule (i) changes application processes for registration as a "security-based swap execution facility," (ii) removes obsolete forms, (iii) removes Chapter 8 screenshots from the Filer Manual, (iv) changes Rule 301 of Regulation S-T "to provide for the incorporation by reference into the Code of Federal Regulations" and (v) allows filers to attach exhibits to electronic filings.

The amended rule is effective as-of the date of publication in the Federal Register.
