GAO Issues Report Critical of FDIC Information Security Controls

The U.S. Government Accountability Office ("GAO") issued a report on the FDIC's implementation of information security controls. The GAO found that the FDIC has neither fully (i) implemented aspects of its security program nor (ii) addressed weaknesses that were identified in 2015.
