CFTC Announces Public Roundtable to Discuss Position Limits for Physical Commodity Derivatives
The CFTC announced that it will hold a roundtable on June 19, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., to discuss position limits for physical commodity derivatives. The roundtable will focus on the hedges of a physical commodity, as well as spot-month limits in physical-delivery and cash-settled contracts. The roundtable will include a discussion on the aggregation of positions based on ownership interests of greater than 50 percent of an owned entity and aggregation based on substantially identical trading strategies.
