SEC Appoints New Director for the Division of Examinations

The SEC appointed Richard R. Best as Director of the SEC Division of Examinations, effective immediately. Mr. Best served as the Acting Director of the SEC Division of Examinations since March 2022.

Previously, he served as Director in the New York, Atlanta and Salt Lake City Regional Offices and prior to the SEC, held supervisory, litigation and investigative positions at FINRA.
