NFA President Announces Upcoming Retirement

NFA President and CEO Daniel Roth announced that he will retire this year. The NFA announced the formation of a committee to conduct a search for his successor.

Mr. Roth led the NFA since January 2003 and served previously as NFA General Counsel, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was at the forefront of NFA efforts to rein in the retail off-exchange foreign currency sector and was instrumental in implementing the Dodd-Frank regime. CFTC Chair Timothy Massad and Commissioner Sharon Bowen issued statements praising Mr. Roth for his "influential" leadership of the NFA.
