MSRB Publishes Municipal Market Statistics for First Quarter 2015
The MSRB released municipal market statistics for the first quarter of 2015.
The statistics show a "sharp decline" in trading. Municipal securities trading volume fell 13 percent in the first quarter of 2015 to $618.5 billion, which is down from $709.8 billion in the first quarter a year ago.
