SEC Chair Clayton Announces Changes to Executive Staff

The SEC named John Moses as Managing Executive of the Office of Chairman Jay Clayton. The SEC stated that Mr. Moses will advise Mr. Clayton on administrative and operational matters, in addition to acting as the primary liaison between Mr. Clayton and other agency divisions. Mr. Moses's predecessor, Peter Uhlmann, has been named Assistant Director for Compliance for the OCIEs' Office of Chief Counsel.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Moses was the SEC Office of Minority and Women Inclusion ("OMWI") Deputy Director. Succeeding Mr. Moses in that role is Lisa Trueba Roberts, who will join the OMWI as acting Deputy Director.

Additionally, Mr. Clayton provided the following updated roster of executive staff:

  • Jeffrey Dinwoodie, Chief Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor for Market and Activities-Based Risk;

  • Sharon Freeman, Program Support Specialist;

  • Peter Frans Gimbrere, Senior Advisor to the Managing Executive;

  • Kelly Halferty, Special Assistant;

  • Kimberly Hamm, Chief Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor;

  • Manisha Kimmel, Senior Policy Advisor on the Consolidated Audit Trail;
