Federal Reserve Board Asserts Greater Control over the Office of Financial Policy

The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System ("FRB") designated the Office of Financial Policy and Research a division of the Board and renamed it the Division of Financial Stability. This change reflects the increasing importance placed on "identifying and analyzing risks to financial stability and to developing and evaluating macroprudential policy responses to those risks."
