Group of 30 Publishes Report on Corporate Governance in Financial Institutions

In its new report, Toward Effective Governance of Financial Institutions, the Group of Thirty has criticised a lack of robust corporate governance as one of the main contributors to the global economic crisis. The report proposes several guidelines for improvement, most notably the separation of the roles of chairman and chief executive.
