CFTC Names Acting Director of Market Oversight Division

CFTC Acting Chair Caroline D. Pham appointed Rahul Varma to serve as the Acting Director of the Division of Market Oversight.

Mr. Varma previously served as the CFTC Deputy Director for the combined Market Intelligence and Product Review branches. He joined the CFTC in 2013 as an Associate Director for Market Surveillance in DMO and became the Market Intelligence Branch Acting Deputy Director in 2017.
