The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC") published a digitalization webpage containing regulatory resources for community banks.
The webpage lists relevant regulations, statements and guidance, risk management materials and emerging technology resources.
The OCC explained that "digitalization uses financial technology to change a business model, provide new revenue and value-producing opportunities, or automate business processes." The OCC reminded users that it "is technology neutral and does not endorse any particular digitalization strategy."
