Federal Register: CFPB Requests Information on Consumer Complaint Reporting Practices

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ("CFPB") Request for Information ("RFI") on the CFPB's process for public reporting of consumer complaints was published in the Federal Register. As previously covered, the CFPB is seeking information on the usefulness of complaint reporting and analysis for industry members and other stakeholders, and specific suggestions on improving complaint reporting and publication practices. Comments may include suggestions on (i) the frequency of reports, (ii) information and data fields to be included in reports, and (iii) the methodology for complaint analyses.

Comments must be submitted by June 4, 2018.
