Senate Committee on Finance Announces Leadership Team
Ron Wyden (D-ORE), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Finance, announced his leadership team. Mr. Wyden's team includes the following core individuals:
- Joshua Sheinkman, Staff Director
- Mr. Sheinkman comes from the Energy and Natural Resources Committee, where he held the same position
- Jocelyn Moore, Deputy Staff Director
- Ms. Moore comes from Senator Wyden's personal office, where she served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Policy Director
- Mike Evans, Chief Counsel
- Mr. Evans was previously a partner in the K&L Gates law firm
- David Berick, Chief Investigator
- Mr. Berick held the same position for Senator Wyden on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee
- Elizabeth Jurinka, Chief Health Policy Adviser
- Ms. Jurinka comes to the Finance Committee from Senator Wyden's personal office, where she served as his Senior Health Policy adviser for three years
- Laura Berntsen, Senior Human Services Adviser
- Ms. Berntsen comes to the Finance Committee from Senator Wyden's personal office, where she has served as his Domestic Policy Adviser since 2011
- Todd Metcalf, Chief Tax Counsel
- Mr. Metcalf held the same post in Senator Wyden's personal office
- Jayme White, Chief Adviser for International Competitiveness and Innovation
- Mr. White joined Wyden's staff in 2009, where he served as legislative director and top adviser on international trade and technology issues
- Sarah Bittleman, Legislative Director and Finance Committee Chief Counsel for Energy, Natural Resources and Agriculture
- Ms. Bittleman comes from the Environmental Protection Agency, where she served as Agriculture Counselor to the Administrator
Wyden also announced the members of his communications team.
