CFTC Announces GMAC Subcommittees, Requests Nominations

The CFTC established three new subcommittees of the Global Markets Advisory Committee and requested nominations for subcommittee membership.

The three subcommittees are (i) the Global Market Structure Subcommittee, (ii) the Digital Asset Markets Subcommittee and (iii) the Technical Issues Subcommittee. Each subcommittee will focus on identifying critical issues and policy proposals in its respective policy area.

The CFTC said that it will accept subcommittee leadership nominations until March 14, 2023.
