FINRA Launches Academic Corporate Bond TRACE Data Product

FINRA launched a new Academic Corporate Bond TRACE Data product. The product is intended to support academic research by making data on historic corporate bond transactions available exclusively to institutions of higher education.

In order to access the data, subscribers must pay annual and initial set-up fees. Subscribers also must agree that they will not (i) "re-distribute the data" or (ii) "attempt to reverse-engineer the identity of any market participant."
