CFTC Holds TAC Meeting Regarding SEF Issues (with Delta Strategy Group Summary)

The CFTC held a meeting of the Technology Advisory Committee ("TAC"), chaired by Commissioner Scott O'Malia, regarding covered swap data reporting, the concept release on automated trading, execution facilities ("SEFs") and made available-to-trade ("MAT") determinations. The meeting was timely because the first MAT determination will be effective on February 15 for certain interest rate swaps and the comment period for the concept release will close on February 14.
