CFTC Authorizes NFA to Receive Notices of Large Swap Valuation Disputes

The CFTC authorized the NFA to receive notices of swap valuation disputes in excess of $20 million. Such disputes currently are submitted directly to the CFTC. Effective March 1, 2016, the NFA will receive and maintain the notices on behalf of the CFTC and provide summaries of and reports on them to the CFTC.

Beginning on March 1, 2016, swap dealers will be expected to file the required notices of swap valuation disputes through WinJammer™, the NFA's online filing application.
