CFTC Signs MOU with German Regulators

CFTC Chair Timothy Massad signed a memorandum of understanding ("MOU") with the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht and Deutsche Bundesbank. The MOU concerns mutual cooperation and the exchange of information in the supervision and oversight of clearing organizations that operate on a cross-border basis in the United States and Germany.

All parties expressed their willingness to cooperate in the interest of fulfilling their respective regulatory mandates regarding cross-border clearing organizations.
