Federal Register: CFTC Requests Comments on Proposals Relating to Swap Data, Registration and Disciplinary Review Requirements

The CFTC requested comments on a proposal that would (i) remove indemnification requirements for the use of swap data by other regulators, and (ii) integrate existing advisory guidance in Parts 3 and 9 of CFTC rules concerning the registration and review of exchange disciplinary actions. The proposal is intended to better incorporate swap execution facilities and update provisions currently applicable to designated contract markets. The request for comments was published in the Federal Register.

Comments on the proposal must be submitted by March 27, 2017.
