FINRA Extends Expiration Date on Pandemic Procedural Relief

FINRA proposed to extend the expiration date on certain previously issued COVID-related relief.

The extension provides relief from some timing, method of service and other procedural requirements under FINRA rules, and allows hearings and adjudications to be done by video conference when warranted.

The relief, which was set to expire on January 31, 2023, will now expire on April 30, 2023. FINRA's proposal is effective immediately.
