SEC Names Cristina Martin Firvida as Investor Advocate

The SEC named Cristina Martin Firvida as the next Director of the SEC Office of the Investor Advocate. Her term is set to begin on January 17, 2023.

Previously, Ms. Martin Firvida served as the Vice President of Financial Security and Livable Communities for Government Affairs at AARP. Before that, she served as Director of Government Relations and Senior Counsel at the National Women's Law Center.
