SEC Down to Three Commissioners

With the departure of Caroline Crenshaw, the SEC is left with three Commissioners, all Republican appointees. 

In a joint statement, the remaining Commissioners, SEC Chair Paul S. Atkins, Hester M. Peirce and Mark T. Uyeda, praised Commissioner Crenshaw as a "steadfast advocate for the agency’s mission."
