The CFTC issued a final Order regarding the effective date for swap regulation. On May 16, 2012, the CFTC published in the Federal Register a Notice of Proposed Amendment to extend the temporary exemptive relief the Commission granted on July 14, 2011, from certain provisions of the CEA that otherwise would have taken effect on the general effective date of Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act - July 16, 2011. The FDIC has made available the public sections of the initial resolution plans submitted to the FDIC and Federal Reserve under Title I of the Dodd-Frank Act. Firms in this group include U.S. bank holding companies with $250 billion or more in total nonbank assets and foreign-based bank holding companies with $250 billion or more in total U.S. nonbank assets. The CFPB is amending its rules relating to the confidential treatment of information by adding a new section providing that the submission by any person of any information to the CFPB in the course of the CFPB's supervisory or regulatory processes will not waive or otherwise affect any privilege such person may claim with respect to such information under Federal or State law as to any other person or entity. In addition, the CFPB has amended its regulations to provide that theCFPB 's provision of privileged information to another Federal or State agency does not waive any applicable privilege
