The CFTC approved an amendment to, and consolidation of, LCH.Clearnet Limited's orders of registration as a derivatives clearing organization ("DCO"). The approved amendment permits LCH.Clearnet Limited to provide clearing services for "swaps," as defined in the CEA and CFTC Rules, as well as all futures and options on futures, regardless of the underlying asset class. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC") issued an updated booklet, titled "Truth in Lending Act," which is part of the Comptroller's Handbook. The booklet, which replaces a similarly titled booklet issued in December 2010, provides updated guidance and procedures to examiners in connection with recent changes made to Regulation Z, primarily with regard to mortgage lending.
