The SEC plans to approve Precidian Investments' non-transparent exchange-traded fund ("ETF") application. The conditional approval would permit registered open-end investment companies that are ETFs and are "actively managed" to operate without having to disclose their holdings on a daily basis.

FINRA proposed to extend the pilot program regarding FINRA Rule 11892 (Clearly Erroneous Transactions in Exchange-Listed Securities) until October 18, 2019. FINRA's proposal is proposed in connection with proposed amendments to the "Plan to Address Extraordinary Market Volatility," which would permit the Plan to function on a permanent basis. FINRA filed the proposal for immediate effectiveness.
