The CFTC determined that certain EU rules provide sufficient basis for comparability with certain regulatory obligations applicable to derivatives clearing organizations that are registered with the CFTC and are authorized to operate as central counterparties in the EU.

The CFTC unanimously approved a substituted compliance framework for dually registered central counterparties located in the European Union.
